Graphic Designer/ Production Artist

Appox 20hrs/ week

At Unfussy, we’re not so fussy about job titles. We are however, extremely picky about the quality of work we provide to our clients. And so, while we might toss out basic descriptive words to you like local (to the greater Edmonton area), experienced graphic designer and production artist, what we’re really looking for is passion, independence, pride of ownership, and an understanding of and appreciation for our belief to connect with brand in order to direct through marketing.

If you’re experienced enough to hit the ground running, yet eager enough to learn how to become Unfussy in your methodologies and beliefs, we’re offering the opportunity to work primarily from home and occasionally (should you yearn for human contact) from our cozy, dog-friendly Fort Saskatchewan office. Expectations (and we’re going to be fussy about this):

• You have agency experience (with a real-world understanding of how projects move to and from different team members in a fast paced, deadline driven environment)
• You can work independently AND as a member of a team
• You are familiar with, and comfortable using, Creative Cloud in a Mac environment
• You are able to design and build vector, raster, and print-ready files, working from creative briefs, rough layouts, or finished comps
• You are able to ensure all electronic files are prepared properly for appropriate output (includes preflighting files)
• You are comfortable with tight deadlines and constructive criticism
• You can prioritize and schedule project tasks to meet deadlines
• You treat your work with absolute care and attention to detail
• You are eager to sharpen your branding and marketing skillsets, and willing to learn from your mistakes
